Jing Herman is a Chinese-American mixed-media artist known for her thick, tactile surfaces, multicultural storytelling, and innovative use of authentic “toppings” such as pennies, gems, cotton, sugar, sea life, branches, and yarn, set in a 100% non-toxic, home-made textured paste made from glue, baking soda, and acrylic paint. Her work is deeply rooted in nature, geometry, and gratitude for the American Dream. Before dedicating herself to art, Jing was an investment banker and corporate strategist at JPMorgan recognized in the inaugural Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2012 and the U.S. CEO of an international tech unicorn.
Jing emphasizes using non-toxic materials as a result of her own personal health journey and is an advocate for better health for all artists and conservation efforts for American rivers, lakes, and wildlife.
